Summary:

Charlie Bucket comes from a poor family but loving family; he spends most of his time dreaming about chocolate and Mr. Willy Wonka’s factory. But all changes, when Mr. Willy Wonka published in newspaper that he decides to put five golden tickets in five separate chocolate bars, and the winners will visit his extraordinary chocolate factory. For sure the tickets began to be found, but the fifth comes to the dreamer boy Charlie Bucket, so he goes in a deep experience full of adventures with his Grandpa Joe to the mysterious chocolate factory.

Main characters:

Mr. Willy Wonka: Dynamic character, he’s the cleverest chocolate maker in the world, and he’s the owner of the chocolate factory.

Charlie bucket: round character, the protagonist of the novel.

Grandpa Joe: Charlie’s grandfather, he went with Charlie to the factory.

Augustus Gloop: flat character, fat boy, eating is his hobby.

Veruca salt: a girl who is spoiled by her parents.

Violet Beauregard: a girl who chews gum all the time.

Mike Teavee: a boy who does nothing but watch television.

The Oompa-Loompas: small human beings, funny, they love singing and dance, from Loompaland.

Setting:  the geographical location / the United Kingdom.

                 The time period / in 2005

Plot:  

Rising action: Charlie lives in a poor family (six grown-ups) they live in a small wooden house on the edge of a great town and they have difficulty with food.

Climax: the main event is, that Charlie found fifty-pence piece lost in the street, with this money he brought two chocolates and found in it the golden ticket, that’s was the main event.

Falling action:  the problems are that Charlie’s family are so poor, that they cannot brought at least 1 bar of chocolate.

Resolution: the resolution of this problem was that Charlie found the golden ticket, so he can be one of the 5 that can visit the chocolate factory.

Theme:

The message that the author wants to sends to people is that, if u had a dream u have to do the maximum to obtain it.

Opinion:  

My opinion is that novel is my favorite novel ever, Charlie and the chocolate factory is full of adventure and actions, that the point why I adore this novel, and we can see this story revolved in our real life’s.

I recommend for others to read this novel, and I am sure they will adore it.
